A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan
Met with the General Mek of the Jumuiyah Tribe
(Translated)

On Sunday, 8 Rabi’ al-Akhar 1448 AH corresponding to 20 September 2026 CE, a delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, under the leadership of Ustadh Nasser Reda, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, accompanied by a member of the Council of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, Ustadh Muhyiddin Bukhari, met with the General Mek of the Jumuiyah Tribe, Mek Ghanim Al-Tayeb Muhammad Nasser, at his home in the city of Omdurman – Al-Thawra.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mek Ghanim spoke about the war in Sudan, and what it has brought of destruction and devastation, and that from the beginning of the war they worked to keep the tribe away from political work, and that the tribe rally around the army; because the army is the one that protects and preserves the country from fragmentation.

Then Ustadh Nasser Reda spoke, explaining the danger of the planned scheme; by mobilizing the tribes and arming them, and entering into wars that tear the country apart.

Therefore, we in Hizb ut Tahrir work on making contact with the leaders of the tribes and clans, beginning with Kordofan, Darfur, and Eastern Sudan. And from this perspective was the visit to your esteemed person, to make clear the plan of the kafir (disbeliever), and to work to thwart it, and that is by holding firmly to the Islamic Aqeedah (doctrine), and that the tribe should stand with the project of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood; because the Khilafah is the solution for treating all the problems, and working to establish it is a Shariah obligation upon all of us.

Mek Ghanim affirmed that they are with Islam, and with implementing the Shariah. Then he thanked the delegation for the visit.
