The American Spectacle in Samarkand Is an Obsession With a Collapsing Colonialism—a Tragic Offering of the Ummah’s Wealth as Bait for the Greedy

On October 19, 2026, the first meeting of the expanded Strategic Partnership Dialogue between Uzbekistan and the United States was held in the city of Samarkand.

The meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov—along with the C5+1 ministerial gathering and the visit of over 200 American companies—is being portrayed by official media outlets as the dawn of a new era of regional prosperity and economic advancement!

However, the political reality confirms that America is currently grappling with deep internal divisions, astronomical debt, and strategic defeats in its foreign policy. Its false facade—purportedly built on humanitarianism and international law—has been utterly shattered before the eyes of the entire world, through its direct management of the brutal genocide in Gaza.

At a time when the colonial West is undergoing a process of decay—clinging, with its very last breath, to a life defined by a fallacious worldview and an aggressive policy—the rulers of our own lands hasten to prostrate themselves at the feet of that tyrannical power, surrendering the fate of Muslims and the wealth buried beneath our soil into its hands.

The essence of the negotiations in Samarkand lies in the following steps toward dependency:

- Plundering Vital Minerals: Facing the risk of being cut off from the strategic raw materials essential for its advanced weaponry and technologies—amid its ongoing struggle with China—the United States is seeking to transform Central Asia into a low-cost repository of raw materials to serve its own military-industrial complex.

- Subjugating the Economy and Critical Infrastructure: Establishing American control—via the company Air Products—over the Uzbekistan GTL plant, which was built at a cost of $3.42 billion and is burdened by massive debt, represents a deepening of an economic trap. The current push to privatize the facility and hand it over to foreign capital, under the guise of a public offering, further cements this entrapment.

- The Artemis Accords and C5+1: Regional agreements and alliances—framed under the guise of space exploration for peaceful purposes—serve only to thrust our region into the heat of the conflict between competing powers: the United States, Russia, and China.

O Muslims in Uzbekistan and Central Asia: Your lands are the lands of Imam al-Bukhari—may Allah have mercy upon him—so do not consent to your home becoming the final lifeline for a collapsing, oppressive, and degenerate capitalism. Your rulers are sacrificing you to serve the debts owed to foreign corporations and the military interests of the colonizers.

Salvation does not lie in soliciting the favor of Washington, Moscow, or Beijing; rather, it lies in severing all ties with the disbelieving (kafir) colonial powers. It consists of a sincere endeavor to establish the Khilafah Rasheedah (rightly guided Caliphate)—following the prophetic methodology—which the entire world awaits, and which will establish justice and truth, and restore our wealth to us.
