Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia Annual Khilafah Conference "Through the Khilafah, We Confront American Hegemony"

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia held its annual conference on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at the Conference and Seminar Hall located at the Soukra-Ariana intersection in the capital. The conference was held under the title:

"Through the Khilafah, We Confront American Hegemony"

The conference will address three main themes:

1. The End of Democracy and Modernity, and the Collapse of the Epstein Civilization
2. Islam and the Khilafah... Towards a New International Order
3. The Fusion of the Call (Da'wah) with Support (Nusrah), and the Dawn of the Khilafah

Following an extensive publicity campaign conducted by the party's members—carried out across social media platforms and throughout the country via the hanging of banners and the distribution of conference invitations during the week preceding the event—the two conference halls were packed with a massive audience from Ahl al-Zaytuna (the people of the Zaytuna tradition), who had traveled from every corner of the country to attend.

The conference opened with a beautiful recitation of verses from the Noble Quran—specifically from the beginning of Surah Al-Qasas up to verse 14—recited by the young brother Muhammad Ali Al-Aouni.

Next, Ustaahda Hanan Al-Khamiri, representing the Women's Section of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia, delivered a speech titled: "The End of Democracy and Modernity, and the Collapse of the Civilization of Epstein."

This was followed by a message delivered by the conference moderator, Ustaadh Najm al-Din Shuaibin, addressed specifically to the people of Tunisia and generally to the entire Islamic Ummah. In it, he affirmed that the Islamic Ummah today possesses all the capabilities and prerequisites necessary to establish the State of the Khilafah—the very state the Messenger of Allah (saw) gave glad tiding about.

Subsequently, a video message from Lebanon was presented featuring Sheikh Ahmed Al-Qasas discussing the Khilafah as the sole solution capable of halting American arrogance and thwarting its schemes in the region.

Finally, Munzir Abdullah—a guest speaker at the conference—delivered a speech titled: "Islam and the Khilafah: Towards a New International Order." Following this, a video address from Palestine by Sheikh Yusuf al-Makharza was broadcast, focusing on the concept of Jihad and calling upon Muslim armies to come to the aid of Palestine.

The conference concluded with a speech by Ustaadh Tariq Rafe’e, titled: "The Fusion of Da’wah (Call to Islam) with Nusrah (Support), and the Dawn of the Caliphate."

Throughout the hall, the Uqab banner—the standard of the Messenger of Allah (saw)—waved proudly. The speeches were interspersed with chants shouted by the audience, such as: "O America, listen well... Our Caliphate shall return!"; "Raise high the Uqab banner—the Caliphate is at our doorstep!"; "La Illaha Illa Allah... The Caliphate is Allah’s promise!"; " La Illaha Illa Allah... The Caliphate is Allah’s rule!"; and " La Illaha Illa Allah... The Caliphate is Allah’s divine obligation!"

The conference took place at a time when Tunisia—along with the rest of the Muslim world—is experiencing intense social and political tension stemming from the dire conditions to which these nations have succumbed: poverty, marginalization, soaring prices, rampant crime, and family disintegration. Compounding this is the ongoing plight of Gaza and Sudan—a situation that can only be described, at the very least, as a tragedy and a crime against humanity. The conference served to demonstrate to the Ummah that there is no salvation except through the establishment of the magnificent edifice of Islam: the Khilafah (Caliphate) State. This is the state that Allah has divinely mandated upon Muslims to curb the arrogance of America and the Jewish entity, to rescue the Islamic Ummah and to put an end to the rule of the Ruwaybidah (the lowly incompetent rulers) who have subjected the Ummah to decades of untold misery—thereby leading it out of the darkness of Capitalism and the modern nation-state system (in both its republican and monarchical forms) into the justice and light of the magnificent Islamic system.
