The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, announced that the retail price of diesel in the Peninsula has been raised by 80 cents to RM5.52 per litre, 

The government has approved the general budget for the year 2026/2027, claiming in its media that it is a budget that favors the people of the country and investors, and enhances economic activity, healthcare, education, social protection, and support for production and exports.
