Eid al-Adha arrives these days, a time of mixed joys and sorrows. Joy in the believers' response to Allah's call for Hajj, answering His summons in a gathering that unites them from all corners of the earth, with their diverse ethnicities and colors, in obedience to Allah's command and to attain His pleasure. And deep sorrow grips their hearts for their plight since the loss of their power and the destruction of their state at the hands of the criminal Mustafa Kemal. What kind of Eid is it while Gaza continues to bleed?! What kind of Eid is it while the bases and warships of the enemies of the Ummah are in its very heartland?! What kind of Eid is it while the free women of the Muslims are humiliated in Palestine, East Turkestan, Myanmar, and India?!

O Muslims: Is it fitting for a great Ummah, exceeding 1.5 billion people, blessed by Allah with the greatest faith and endowed with wealth and strategic locations, to be at the bottom of the Ummahs?! Is it not more fitting for it, with such advantages, to be the undisputed leader?!

This is the heartbreaking state of the Ummah, and its cause is one clear and obvious: the destruction of its state and its fragmentation into some sixty states. Its cure is equally clear: the restoration of its authority and the establishment of its state; the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate), established according to the methodology of the Prophethood.

O Muslims: Just as Allah (swt) has made Hajj obligatory upon you, He has also made obligatory upon you a great duty, indeed the crown of all duties. For the implementation of Allah's laws among you depends upon it. This duty is the earnest effort to establish Allah's law and to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate), so that you may return to being a Ummah of honor and dignity, and to save yourselves and all of humanity from the rule of tyranny and the corruption of capitalism and the misery and destruction it has caused for both people and their livelihoods.

Has the dawn of the Khilafah not arrived, and the rot of capitalism vanished, as we rejoice in the Almighty's words:

[وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقاً]

“And declare, ‘The truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish’” [Al-Isra 17:81].

In conclusion, we congratulate the Muslim Ummah on the blessed Eid al-Adha, and we especially congratulate the dawah carriers, foremost among them the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the great scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Rashtah, may Allah protect him and grant him victory and empowerment through him, asking Allah to bring it back to the Muslim Ummah with security, safety, peace and Islam, and to make it an Eid of goodness, blessing, victory and empowerment.

Eid Mubarak, may you be closer to Allah, and more steadfast in obeying Him.
