Sentencing of Three Members of Hizb ut Tahrir in St Petersburg with Sentences from the Stalin Era

The Moscow military district court sentenced two members of Hizb ut Tahrir, Karim Ibrahimov and Ildar Ramadanov, to 16 and 17 years imprisonment with hard labour in accordance to Part 1 of the Article 205.5 (Organising activities of a terrorist organisation. As for Ilyas Kagirov, he was sentenced to 5 years in accordance to Part 2 of Article 205.5 (Participating in activities of a terrorist organisation).

The Security Forces Make War against the Islamic Community in Nizhnevartovsk

On 13/04/2016, three Muslims were arrested under the charge of the suspicion of their affiliation to Hizb ut Tahrir in the town of Nizhnevartovsk. They are: Edward (Zaid) Huseinov, Ildar Jabdarayabov and Rainat Bajayiv. This was when they were summoned for questioning whilst in reality they were arrested and transferred to precautionary imprisonment.

The Verdicts Passed Against the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in Russia
