On April 26, 2019, the Prevolski Military Court sentenced five members of Hizb ut Tahrir from Tatarstan. The judge fully upheld the fabricated charges of “terrorism” according to the laws of the Russian Federation. The sentences were as follows:

On March 13, 2019, the military court of Privolsky in Russia sentenced five members of Hizb ut Tahrir from Tatarstan and considered them guilty under the criminal law based on the anti-Islamic basis established by the Russian Supreme Court in 2003 which considered Hizb ut Tahrir a terrorist movement, thus membership of Hizb ut Tahrir became a crime punishable by law.

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan is undertaking a strong campaign of contacting, delegations, protests and social media propagation demanding the rejection of the IMF. The matter is of urgency as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) team arrived in Islamabad on 7 November for negotiations for more loans, with conditions and interest.

On October 11, 2018, Russian media reported the arrest of Hizb ut Tahrir officials in Russia and Tatarstan. The following day, three of them were arrested. They stated that the three detainees were Edward Nizemov, born in 1977; they described him as the party's branch official in Russia, Eldar Ahmedov, born in 1977, and Rais Jamadinov, born in 1970, both described as party officials in the regions.
