After the Fall of Mocha to the Houthis... the Bloodshed and People’s Displacement Cycle Continue Under Rulers Who Turn Their Backs to the Book of Allah

On Thursday, 10/9/2026, the strategically located coastal city of Mocha on the Red Sea fell to the Houthis. On Saturday,12/9/2026, the head of kufr (disbelief), Trump, said, “The Houthis called us, and they let us know that they don't want to fight with us. They don't want me to go after them “allowing ships to pass” and that the situation would “work out very well”. This statement was made independently of Iran. The spokesman for the Houthi armed forces, Yahya Saree, said, "International navigation in the Red Sea will not be harmed," in a message intended to reassure the kafir colonizers!

So where did the efforts of nine years go in establishing and founding the “National Resistance with the nucleus of the Republican Guard,” which was sponsored and protected by the Emirates at the behest of its master, Britain, only to end with the fall of Mocha and Khalid Camp, Britain’s control over the eastern coast of the Red Sea, and the completion of America’s control over all its shores! Britain’s political influence in the island is declining in the face of America’s influence, after it lost Saudi Arabia with the arrival of Salman bin Abdulaziz to power there and its transformation into an American agent state. Today, America has a foothold in Yemen, both in the north and the south.

With the fall of the city of Mocha, Tariq Saleh – the nephew of the deceased Ali Saleh, who served Britain throughout his years of rule – was removed from his position in the eight-member Presidential Council, becoming the second loser, after Aidarus al-Zoubaidi, the head of the Southern Transitional Council in Yemen.

America’s removal of the members of the Presidential Council who are agents of Britain may not stop unless it ensures they are drawn close to it after the head of the council, Rashad al-Alimi. The same pattern is reflected in Sana'a, where the participation of followers of the late Ali Abdullah Saleh's party alongside the Houthis has diminished. The defeat of British military forces came with the ongoing dismantling of the tribal power they relied upon. The events in Mocha, is considered as a destruction of the Republican Guard, which was not entirely loyal to Britain. Its American adversaries quickly infiltrated it with elements opposed to it and subservient to its rivals. This occurred alongside the arrival of the Giants Brigades and the Homeland Shield forces, whose loyalties were not entirely aligned, just days before the Houthi takeover of Mocha. Eyewitnesses on the battlefield reported that the Saudi-founded Homeland Shield forces initiated the withdrawal, creating confusion within the ranks. Subsequently, the fugitive Tariq Saleh ordered all his forces to retreat from all fronts into the city, citing what he described as internal betrayals and abandonment by his brothers, as he put it. The Houthis then entered Mocha with minimal resistance, seizing a significant amount of weapons left behind by the retreating forces.

Here, the role of Riyadh and, behind it, Washington, is revealed in the collusion during the seven days of the war, in which the Houthis directed their forces to Mocha to give the impression to observers that they had taken it deservedly, by not intervening aerially by bombing the Houthi forces attacking Mocha, and by pretending to be busy bombing the other fronts in Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and Al-Dhali’, and delaying the intervention of the air force until after the fall of Mocha was complete, and spreading the rumor of the death box of the Houthis, as nothing but a smokescreen. Thus, what Saudi Arabia was unable to do in sweeping away what remained of Britain’s agents, the Houthis are doing now, and the series of expelling its influence in Yemen continues. It expelled the Emirates, then attacked the Southern Transitional Council, and now it is attacking the National Resistance in Mocha, and the next in turn is the Islah Party and its areas of influence.

This brings to memory the entrance of the Houthis into Sana'a on 21/9/2014, and Tariq Saleh's forces being prevented from entering Hodeidah by the Stockholm Agreement on 13/12/2018. Is it now the turn of Marib and Taiz, which are currently controlled by the Islah Party – which was a secret partner of the deceased in ruling the country – this party that raises Islam as a slogan to deceive its followers, while in reality it applies the secular republican system and follows the laws of the United Nations?!

We in Hizb ut Tahrir have a firm position: we do not stand with these local warring factions, whether it be the so-called “legitimacy” represented by the General People's Congress and the Islah Party, or the Houthis in the north, or other local tools or regional implementers: the UAE, Britain's protégé, the Al Saud rulers, servants of America, or the rulers of Iran, whose evils have filled the lands of the Muslims, or the international powers vying for influence over Yemen, America and Britain. Rather, our position stems from the creed of Islam, which is the unification of Muslims under one state, ruling by what Allah has revealed, and carrying Islam to the world as a message of guidance and light. While we strive to achieve our goal, we follow the example of our Prophet Muhammad (saw) in exposing the agent rulers and destroying the ideas contrary to Islam through intellectual and political struggle. This is exactly the action of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, to warn the Ummah against the kuffar and their agents so that it does not slip into being preoccupied with fighting each other, as is happening today, but rather directs its arrows towards the colonizing kuffar, foremost among them America and Britain.

The warnings issued by Hizb ut Tahrir to the believers at the beginning of the new millennium regarding the intensifying international conflict over Yemen between Britain and America were not in vain, nor were they mere illusions. Rather, they were intended to warn them against falling into its traps and to urge them to act wisely towards it. To guide those with understanding and discernment to expose the dangers of this conflict and its instruments, to reject and abandon them, so that they might live in happily in the world and return to Allah with joy.

The solution to all of Yemen's problems and its liberation from the stranglehold of the British-American conflict lies solely in the establishment of the second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate), on the method of the Prophethood; which will implement Islam, take care of the affairs of Muslims according to, safeguard their blood, prevent internal strife and senseless wars among them, and establish the rule of Allah alone. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ» “Then there will be a Khilafah on the method of Prophethood.”
