The work of Islamic revival is not the work of an individual, nor the mission of a single era. It is a trust — an amānah — carried in the hands of one generation and transferred with sincerity to the next, until the promise of Allah (swt) of nasr ( نصر victory), tamkeen ( تمكين empowerment), and istikhlaaf ( استخلاف succession in authority) are fulfilled.

Dhu al-Bijadayn was the noble Companion Abdullah ibn Abd Nahm ibn Afif ibn Suhaim ibn Adi ibn Tha’labah ibn Sa'd ibn Adi ibn Uthman ibn Amr al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him). He was a close Companion of the Prophet (saw) and one of the People of the Suffah (the poor among the Muhajireen).
This noble verse consists of two sentences. The first informs us of Allah’s (swt) sending down the Book with the truth and His sending down the Balance. The second sentence indicates the nearness of the Hour, that is, the Last Day.
